Fishing

Fishing season at the Fin and Feather Club generally runs through the first weekend in February through the first Sunday in October.

Fishing Hours

We open 30 minutes before sunrise and close 30 minutes after sunset every day except Thursday and major holidays.

Types of Fish in our Lake

  • Rainbow Trout
  • Largemouth Bass
  • Channel Catfish
  • Bluegill
  • Crappie
  • Perch

We stock our lake with Nebraska Tailwalker Rainbow Trout.

The Trout are stocked February through May. During that time our stocking schedule for trout is 9,000 lbs every other week for a total of 90,000 lbs by the end of the Trout Season. Once it starts warming up in the summer, the lake is then stocked with Catfish.

Our club has 48 fishing docks and two boat launching ramps. We have a selection of live and non-live bait and also carry tackle and lures in the Gatehouse.
